The City of Steinbach will be locking up the outdoor rink by the Centennial Arena this morning as it it is no longer safe for skating.
The City reports that some sections have melted and broken apart, revealing the grass underneath.
The other skating surface beside the Smith Arena is also starting to break up and is not safe to skate on in its current condition. As the City is unable to lock up that ice surface, any people who decide to skate there are urged to use caution.
