Ford of Canada's Drive One 4 UR Community program to support Relay for Life and Clearspring Middle School.
On Friday May 25 from 6pm to midnight, Fairway Ford will be hosting a “Drive One Event” at the Safeway parking lot in Steinbach in support of the Relay for Life and Clearspring Middle School.
Ford of Canada supports local communities and schools through the Drive One 4UR Community and Drive One 4UR School fundraisers. By stopping by Safeway parking lot Friday night and taking a drive in a New Ford Vehicle, Ford of Canada will donate $20 to the cause. Last year Fairway Ford helped raise approximately $4,800 towards a new play structure for the Grunthal Community Park.
Fairway spokesperson Nicole Felsch says “Partnering with both the school and the Relay, gives us the potential to raise a total of $12,000! Clearspring Middle School will donate a third of the money that is given to them to the Relay for Life, leaving a potential of $4,000 for Clearspring Middle School’s PAC Fund and giving the Relay a potential of $8,000 to add to their totals that night.”
To help raise the full potential of $12,000, Fairway Ford invites everyone 18 years of age or older with a valid driver’s licence to come out and take a drive. Drivers will also be entered to win a new iPad.
