An investigation by the RCMP D Division Internet Child Exploitation Unit which began in October, 2011, resulted in a man facing several charges of luring related offences.

On June 5, 2012, a search warrant was executed at the suspect’s residence in the RM of Lorne. Two computers and related items were seized.

The suspect, identified as 59-year-old Norbert Vandeynze, was located and later that day arrested. Vandeynze has since been released on strict conditions and charged with four counts of luring to commit invitation to sexual touching and three counts of luring to commit sexual interference. Norbert Vandeynze is scheduled to appear in Morden Provincial Court on August 15, 2012.

The investigation continues with the assistance of the RCMP Integrated Technological Crime Unit.
