Morden RCMP are currently investigating an incident involving a middle-aged man trying to gain entry to a residence near Winkler this past weekend.
RCMP report that during the evening of November 24, 2012, a Caucasian male attended a residence north of Winkler and advised the occupant that he was a carpet cleaner. The man did not produce any identification and quickly left upon seeing another male inside the residence.
Police say that the suspect is described as a stocky Caucasian male in his 40’s, 5’8″, short balding light brown hair with glasses.
If you have any further information regarding this male or are approached by someone in a similar fashion, please contact your local RCMP immediately.
