On March 2, 2013, at 8pm, Headingley RCMP were dispatched to the scene of an armed robbery that had just occurred at a gas station on the Trans Canada Highway in Elie, Manitoba.

Witnesses report that a male entered the premises brandishing a handgun. The man received an undisclosed quantity of cash and lottery tickets before fleeing in a waiting vehicle.

RCMP report that there were no injuries related to this incident.

The suspect is described as about 5′ 10″ tall with a medium build wearing all black clothing. His head was shaved and there was a discolouration visible under his right cheek bone.
