On March 24, 2013, shortly after 3:30am, Powerview RCMP and area EMS were dispatched to a single vehicle collision on Antonio Street in Bissett.

RCMP arrived on scene and found a car in the ditch that had collided with a tree. Police say that the vehicle sustained extensive front end damage.

RCMP report that the driver, a 29-year-old male from Bissett, was found deceased in the vehicle. Two passengers, a man and a woman were also in the vehicle and suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation into the cause of the collision continues with the assistance of an RCMP Traffic Analyst. Alcohol is suspected to be a contributing factor.
