Two Ebb and Flow men are facing numerous charges after being arrested by police in connection with a convenience store robbery.

On March 24, 2013, at about 10 pm, Ste. Rose du Lac RCMP were dispatched to a robbery at a convenience store in Ebb and Flow.

Officers arrived on scene and learned that two males, one armed with bear spray, entered the convenience store and informed the staff the store was being robbed. It was reported that the males had their faces covered and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.

Police say that one suspect was found and arrested at a nearby residence. The second suspect was found, with the assistance of an RCMP Police Service Dog, in the bush near the same residence.

RCMP report that 26-year-old Michael Derek Hunter of Ebb and Flow, has been charged with disguise with intent, robbery with a weapon and identity fraud for providing a false name to officers. 27-year-old Manuel Patrick Houle of Ebb and Flow, has been charged with disguise with intent, robbery with a weapon, possessing a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence, three counts of failing to comply with a recognizance and failing to comply with a probation order.
