On the evening of May 19, 2013, Steinbach RCMP, Steinbach Fire and EMS, responded to a report of a house fire on the 500 block of First Street in Steinbach.
RCMP report that fire crews were able to extinguish the fire before it had spread throughout the entire house, however significant damage had still occurred.
The Manitoba Office of the Fire Commissioner attended and were able to determine the origin of the fire to be electrical in nature.
