On August 12, 2013, Headingley Traffic Services responded to the scene of a collision involving a semi and CP train at a controlled railway intersection on the South Perimeter.

Early investigation show that the semi was traveling west on Highway 100, just west of Highway 330, when the semi collided with a southbound CP cargo train.

RCMP report that the driver of the semi, identified as a 51-year-old Winnipeg man, was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. One train staff received minor non-life threatening injuries and was treated on scene.
