On August 21, 2013, at about 8:15pm, Stonewall RCMP, local area EMS and Fire responded to a single vehicle rollover at the intersection of Road 4E and 79N in the RM of Rockwood.
The driver, a 20-year-old female and Stonewall resident, was found with serious injuries and transported to Winnipeg for medical care. In the early hours of August 22, she succumbed to her injuries.
Early investigation indicates that she was traveling north on Road 4E, lost control of the vehicle on the gravel road and rolled.
The investigation continues with the assistance of an RCMP Traffic Analyst. Alcohol is not considered a factor in this collision.
