A Niverville woman is listed in critical condition after losing control of her motorcycle and crashing yesterday afternoon.
On the afternoon of September 21, 2013, at 4:30pm, Lac du Bonnet RCMP and area EMS were dispatched to a single motorcycle collision on Highway 313 known as Pointe du Bois road.
Police say that the rider, identified as a 22-year-old Niverville woman, was found seriously injured. She was riding eastbound on Highway 313 when she came upon a curve, lost control of the motorcycle and crashed into the ditch.
RCMP report that the driver was transported to a Winnipeg Hospital and is currently listed in critical condition.
An RCMP Traffic Analyst is assisting with the investigation. Rider inexperience is considered a contributing factor.
