On January 18, 2014, Lac du Bonnet RCMP executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act at a residence in the RM of Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba.
Firearms seized by RCMP from a Lac du Bonnet residence.
During the search, police seized 154 grams of cocaine, 850 grams of marijuana, scales, score sheet, drug packaging, firearm and ammunition and assorted weapons.
Lance Laliberte, 30, and Ashley Payne, 22, both of the RM of Lac du Bonnet, have been charged with assault, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and numerous firearms-related charges.
RCMP report that both were remanded in custody and appeared in Winnipeg court on January 20, 2014.
