On February 14, 2014, shortly 4am, Stonewall RCMP along with local EMS and fire responded to report of a semi-trailer on fire on Inkster Boulevard in the RM of Rosser.

Upon arrival, police noted that the semi-trailer was fully engulfed in flames. The truck was parked in a compound and was destroyed in this incident. No other property was damaged by the fire. Police say that the semi-trailer was loaded with groceries, destined for Calgary.

RCMP report that a 42-year-old male driver of Winnipeg received non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a Winnipeg area hospital.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, however it is believed to have been from a small stove being operated inside the cab of the truck.
