On June 4, 2014, just before 7pm, Steinbach RCMP responded to a report of break, enter and theft of firearms in Kleefeld, Manitoba.

Police say that three firearms were stolen from the residence. It was learned through subsequent investigation that two additional firearms had been stolen from the same residence on June 1, 2014.

RCMP were able to recover three of the firearms that were stolen and arrested 35-year-old Nicolas Hudson from Ste. Anne along with a 16-year-old male from Kleefeld. The youth has been charged with four firearm-related offences and released to a parent on his own recognizance. Hudson was charged with five firearm-related offences and remanded into custody. Hudson’s next court appearance is June 9, 2014, in Steinbach Provincial Court.
