Person of interest in auto theft investigation.
Steinbach RCMP are asking the public for help in identifying a person of interest, possibly connected to a recent auto theft incident.
On July 4, 2014, Steinbach RCMP received a report of a theft of a motor vehicle. Police say that the theft occurred at a residence on Giesbrecht Street in Steinbach sometime between 5:30pm on July 3 and 8:45am on July 4.
RCMP report that the vehicle was a 2011 lime green Ford Fiesta and has since been recovered.
Steinbach RCMP are requesting information on the theft and for assistance in identifying the male person of interest.
