While responding to a local disturbance, Steinbach RCMP observed an automobile strike a light standard on McKenzie Avenue in Steinbach, MB.

RCMP report that a 24-year-old male from Steinbach was the lone occupant in the vehicle and was subsequently injured as a result of the crash. Police investigation revealed that the driver was operating the motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and was not wearing his seat belt.
