On November 23, 2014, at about 7:30 pm, Selkirk RCMP were called to a report of a robbery at the Co-op gas bar on Main Street in Selkirk, Manitoba.

Police say that a lone male entered the business and demanded money, threatening the employee with a weapon. The suspect then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash from the register. The victim was not injured.

The suspect is described as Aboriginal in appearance, approximately 6′ tall, with long black hair. He was wearing a grey hooded sweater, black sunglasses, a red scarf over his face, white shoes and a big checkered jacket.

Investigation revealed there were two other male witnesses outside the Co-op gas bar when this incident occurred. Police are interested in speaking with these witnesses as they may have information related to this investigation.

In another incident on the same day at about 8:30pm, Selkirk RCMP were called to a report of another robbery at the Safeway gas bar located on Main Street in Selkirk.

Police say that a lone male entered the business, demanded money while threatening the employee with a weapon. The suspect also fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash from the register. The victim was not injured.

The suspect is male, approximately 5’10” tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black balaclava with sunglasses, light blue jeans, white running shoes and a grey and black winter jacket.
