On February 7, 2015, at approximately 9:30pm, Island Lake RCMP were called to the Garden Hill Nursing Station, where a 21-year-old man was facing life-threatening injuries.
Police say that the man, a Garden Hill resident, later succumbed to his injuries. His death is being investigated as a homicide.
The RCMP Winnipeg Serious Crimes Unit, RCMP Winnipeg Major Crimes Unit, Brandon and Thompson Forensic Identification Sections and Island Lake RCMP continue with the ongoing investigation.
