On April 13, 2015, just after midnight, Selkirk RCMP responded to a house fire in the RM of St. Andrews, Manitoba.

When officers arrived, the house was fully engulfed. The local fire department arrived on scene to battle the blaze.

Police say that two women, aged 54 and 61, were able to escape from the home by jumping from a second story window. They suffered minor injuries and were transported to Winnipeg hospital.

RCMP report that the fire was extinguished at approximately 7:30am. The fire does not appear suspicious at this time and RCMP continue to investigate.
