Gimli RCMP recently responded to several calls regarding vehicles being rummaged through in the Sandy Hook, Manitoba area. There were also two reports of stolen vehicles and in both instances, the vehicles were located by RCMP in the immediate vicinity. Investigators with Gimli RCMP believe these incidents are related.

Police would like to remind the public that with the busy summer season, there is increased activity in the cottage areas of Manitoba. Residents should protect their property by locking residences and vehicle doors as well as not leaving valuables in vehicles.
