On June 9, 2015, just before 12:30am, Portage la Prairie RCMP received a report of medication stolen from a crash cart at the Portage General Hospital.

Police say that some of the medication stolen is potentially fatal. In particular, Furosemide and Procainamide were taken. These drugs are deadly if ingested or injected.

The RCMP would like to remind the public that drugs of any kind can have potentially serious side effects.
