On June 16, 2015, just after 11am, East St. Paul RCMP responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision in a parking lot on Henderson Highway in Narol, Manitoba.
When officers arrived on scene, an 86-year-old Narol, Manitoba man was found lying in the parking lot and a pickup truck was pressed into a community mailbox. Police say that the man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Early RCMP investigation shows the victim had exited the vehicle while it was still in gear and was struck by the vehicle.
Police continue to investigate with the assistance of an RCMP Forensic Collision Reconstructionist.
