On June 14, 2015, just before 10am, Neepawa RCMP were notified that two solar panel digital speed reader signs in Riding Mountain, Manitoba were damaged. The signs are owned by the Province of Manitoba and the damage is estimated at approximately $20,000.

When police arrived on scene, it appeared that the signs had been pulled out of the ground and dragged while attached to a truck with broad, off-road tires. It is believed the incident occurred at approximately 2:30am the same morning.

From the appearance of the scene, police believe there would be damage to the front of the vehicle. Police are interested in finding out more about a dark colour Dodge diesel truck with a lift that was seen in the area.
