As a result of a recent methamphetamine trafficking investigation, Steinbach RCMP stopped a vehicle on Barkman Avenue in Steinbach and arrested two males and a female who were in the vehicle. As a result, police seized several weapons as well as methamphetamine from the vehicle.

RCMP report that Kelly Reimer, 23, from Steinbach and Timothy Jacques, 33, from Blumenort, have been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine, as well, they are also facing weapons related charges. Both men were remanded into custody in Winnipeg and appeared before a Judge on June, 22, 2015. The female was released without charges.

Police say that this is the third time Kelly Reimer has been charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking since January 1, 2015. He is still currently before the courts on these previous charges and was found to be in breach of several of the conditions of his bail.
