On June 18, 2015, Dauphin RCMP received a report of a suspicious male claiming to work for Manitoba Hydro.

Police investigation reveals that a man claiming to work for Manitoba Hydro attended a residence on King Street in Dauphin on the evening of June 10, 2015, saying he needed access to the house to read the meter. He was denied access to the home.

The suspect is described as being a white male in his 40’s, wearing glasses with brown curly hair. He was wearing a plaid shirt and blue jeans.

RCMP would like to remind the public that all Manitoba Hydro employees carry photo identification cards. You can also contact Manitoba Hydro to verify the person is an employee.
