On September 28, 2015, at approximately 12pm, members of the Steinbach RCMP received a report of serious collision between a semi transport truck and a vehicle at the intersection of Highway 12 and Seine Road.

Officers and emergency personnel responded to the location and confirmed that two occupants in the vehicle were deceased at the scene. The driver of the truck remained at the scene and has been reported as uninjured.

An RCMP Forensic Collision Reconstructionist is assisting the investigation in order to establish the contributing factors to the collision.
