City of Steinbach community compost depots continue to be available on Saturdays from 9am to 3pm with the final depots of the season on Saturday, October 17, 2015.
Until the final day, local residents are invited to continue to drop-off yard and garden clippings along with organic waste to one of three depots located at:
- Woodlawn School Yard (411 Henry Street)
- Stonybrook Middle School (77 Lumber Avenue)
- Deerfield Trail
The City composts this material at the Landfill and uses the rich compost in the City’s parks and gardens. When ready, the compost is also made available for the public to pick-up at no charge.
