On January 7, 2016 at approximately 7:55pm, Steinbach RCMP received a report of a snowmobile on fire on Kokomo road, just north of Highway 52.
Police say that the fire completley destroyed the machine. A white, late 1990’s model GMC or Chevrolet truck was observed in the area at the time of the fire.
According to RCMP, the snowmobile had been reported stolen from the RM of Springfield on January 2, 2016.
