Two Steinbach men are facing numerous drug-related charges after recently be arrested by Steinbach RCMP.
On January 21, 2016, Steinbach RCMP executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act in Steinbach. This investigation, led by the General Investigation section, involved the search of a residence on Penrose Crescent, which resulted in the seizure of prohibited weapons and items relating to the sale of controlled substances, including cocaine and currency.
RCMP report that 25-year-old Trenten Sass and 22-year old Shawn Sass, both from Steinbach, have been arrested in relation to this incident. Both individuals have been charged with possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possessing the proceeds of crime and possession of a prohibited weapon.
Both individuals have been remanded into custody.
