RCMP Fisher Branch Detachment are requesting assistance in locating an at-risk youth in Winnipeg.

Desiree Samarah Assiniboine is 16 years of age and is a resident of Hodgson near Peguis First Nation. She was last seen in the Stella Walk housing area in the north end of Winnipeg on the evening of Thursday, August 27, 2009. 

Desiree is described as aboriginal, 5’4″, 130 lbs, black hair with brown streaks, pony tail with black and green glasses. She was last wearing dark skinny jeans, purple and black hoodie, black and pine shoes. 

Desiree Assiniboine is unfamiliar with the City of Winnipeg.

16-year-old Desiree Samarah Assiniboine has been located. She was located safe and in good health in Winnipeg on Friday evening, August 28, 2009.
