This past week, St. Pierre RCMP received calls related to thefts and attempted thefts of motor vehicles in Lorette, Ile des Chenes and Ste. Agathe.
A white, 2004 Chevrolet Silverado pickup was stolen from the Riverbend Trailer Park in Lorette sometimes between 11:00 PM on Friday, August 28 and 4:45 AM on Saturday, August 29. The vehicle has not been recovered.
During the same time period, culprits attempted to steal a brown 2002 Chevrolet Suburban from Rosa Street as well as a white 2002 Cadillac Escalade from Belanger Drive in Lorette. In the latter, a number of items were stolen from inside the vehicle.
The following night, a grey 2004 GMC Sierra pickup was stolen from Notre Dame Bay in Ile des Chenes. The vehicle has not been recovered.
Sometime between 11pm on August 30 and 6:30am on August 31, 2009, culprits attempted to steal a red 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer from a driveway on Pembina Trail in Ste. Agathe.
