Drug operation on a rural property north of Sundown.
On September 10, 2009, the Morris RCMP Detachment executed a search warrant for the production of marijuana at a rural property north of Sundown, Manitoba in the Rural Municipality of Stuartburn.
Several RCMP units were involved in the investigation and search of the property. Approximately 325 marijuana plants in various stages of growth and approximately 40lbs of harvested marijuana were seized along with other property associated to the marijuana production.
The total estimated value of the marihuana seized is approximately $375,000.
At this time, there have been no arrests made, the investigation is continues.
