On November 24, 2009, shortly after 10:30pm, Oakbank RCMP were dispatched to an armed robbery at the Anola Village Inn in Anola, Manitoba.

Upon arrival, the suspect had already fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Investigation shows that a lone adult male suspect wearing a light blue balaclava, white sneakers, a light blue hoodie, jeans and a plastic bag entered the establishment armed with a firearm and demanded money. The employee complied and the suspect left the premise. No shots were fired and there were no injuries.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5’8″ tall, medium build. He is reported as being possibly 30 years of age. 

No arrests have been made and anyone with any information on this incident is urged to call the Oakbank RCMP at (204)444-3847 or Manitoba Crime Stoppers.
