On Saturday evening, November 28, 2009, officers from the Dauphin RCMP responded to a report of a theft from a downtown gas bar/convenience store.
The suspect had been apprehended by staff, but fled the scene prior to the officer’s arrival.
The officers reviewed the security video from the store and identified the suspect. Approximately 1/2 hour later, the suspect was located and arrested.
A 14-year-old Dauphin youth has been charged with theft and breach of probation and has been remanded in custody to appear in Dauphin Court on Monday.
