On January 5, 2010 at 7:55pm, the Winkler Police Service and the National Weapons Enforcement Support Team (NWEST), as part of a joint investigation, executed a search warrant for firearms at a residence in Reinfeld, Manitoba.
During the search police seized six (6) stolen firearms that included a sawed off shotgun, hundreds of rounds of ammunition and a small quantity of drugs.
A young person was arrested and will be charged with numerous firearm and drug related offences.
