On February 9, 2010 the Project Management Institute (PMI) announced eroWORKS Retail Banking System, from the Steinbach Credit Union, as the winner of Manitoba’s Project of the Year for 2010.
For the past 6 years, PMI Manitoba has recognized and honoured the “Best of the Best” of “Made in Manitoba” projects. This is Manitoba’s premiere project management event and took place at the Winnipeg Convention Centre. The Honourable Peter Bjornson, Minister of Entrepreneurship, Training and Trade, addressed the crowd and was on hand to congratulate the winning team and organization.
2nd place went to the Lease Portfolio Integration Project from National Leasing Group Inc. and Online Business Systems. Other worthy project submissions were:
• Bingo Gaming System – Manitoba Lotteries Corporation
• City of Winnipeg – 311 Contact Centre – City of Winnipeg
• Clinical Provider Order Entry – St. Boniface Hospital, MB Health, WRHA, MB eHealth
• Job Referral Service – Protegra
• Manitoba Identification Card Program – Manitoba Public Insurance
• ServiceLink Phase 1 – Manitoba Family Services and Consumer Affairs
