On February 28, 2010, at about 9:15pm, RCMP Powerview Detachment and EMS were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 304, about 12 kilometres south of Powerview-Pine Falls in the RM of Alexander.

RCMP and EMS arrived on scene and found two vehicles, a Chevrolet Tracker and a Hyundai Accent. The Accent was literally ripped in half, while the Chevrolet Tracker had extensive front end damage.

RCMP have determined that the Chevrolet Tracker was heading north and the Hyundai was southbound when the collision occurred. The two occupants of the Chevrolet Tracker, the driver a 33-year-old man and a 32-year-old male passenger, both from Powerview-Pine Falls, were taken to the Pine Falls Health Complex with non-life threatening injuries and have since been released. The driver of the Hyundai, a 53-year-old man from St Georges, was also taken by ambulance to the Pine Falls Health Complex where he is listed in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries. 

RCMP Powerview Detachment continue to investigate the cause of the crash with the assistance of the RCMP Reconstructionist.

No charges have been laid at the present time.
