Island Lake RCMP are investigating the murder of a 32-year-old male after responding to a report of a serious assault in Garden Hill FN during the early morning hours of July 11, 2010.
Assisting with the investigation is the Winnipeg RCMP Serious Crime Unit, Winnipeg RCMP Major Crime Unit, Thompson RCMP Major Crime Unit and the Winnipeg RCMP Forensic Identification Sections.
The deceased has been identified as Terence James Fiddler of Garden Hill FN.
A post mortem is scheduled to be held at The Winnipeg Health Sciences Center on July 12, 2010.
Two 16-year-old male youths of Garden Hill FN have been arrested and charged with Manslaughter. They will be appearing in Provincial Youth Court in Winnipeg on July 13, 2010 at 2pm.
Police continue to investigate.
