Theft at Alpha Hair & Body Salon in Steinbach

On July 30, 2010, at approximately 3:50pm, Steinbach RCMP received a report of a theft that had just occurred at Alpha Hair & Body Salon, situated at 227 Main Street in Steinbach.

Employees stopped police near the salon and advised that a male person had entered the store moments before, inquiring about a particular woman’s hair straightening iron. The male suspect then grabbed the item and ran out of the salon. He then made his way to a nearby waiting vehicle.

The vehicle is described as an early 1980’s Red Honda Prelude. The male is described as approximately 6 feet tall, wearing jeans and a black sweater with possibly a yellow logo on the front. The straightening iron is described as a Paul Brown Hawaii iron.
