At 3:45pm on September 28, 2010, members of the Carman area RCMP received a report of a two vehicle collision involving an ambulance on Highway 3, approximately 4 miles north of Highway 23.

Police attended the scene with the Carman and Roland Fire Departments. It is believed that two tires from a northbound pick-up truck became loose and came off the truck. The tires then crossed into the southbound lane and collided with a southbound ambulance. A third vehicle that was following the northbound pickup truck was also damaged.

Although the ambulance was transporting patients at the time there were no injuries caused as a result of the collision.

Because of the collision traffic was confined to one lane of travel during the investigation and clean-up.
