On October 12, 2010, at approximately 1:50am, Selkirk RCMP received a report of a theft involving a 30 foot Suncraft Pontoon Boat that was stolen from a Lockport business parking lot.
Suspects were located a short time later by East St. Paul RCMP and Selkirk Traffic Services. Suspects were reported to be towing the boat on Highway 59 northbound near Garven Road.
RCMP have arrested a 20-year-old man from the RM of Brokenhead and a 28-year-old man from the RM of St. Andrews. Both men were released from custody on a promise to appear in Selkirk Provincial Court and will be facing charges of theft over $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime Over $5,000.
