Powerview RCMP were informed of a home invasion in Fort Alexander at approximately 10:20pm, on October 14, 2010.
Police attended the scene and learned that 3 unknown males disguised with face masks forced their way into a residence.
Investigation revealed that one of the suspects stabbed one of the residents multiple times with a screwdriver. Another resident was assaulted and suffered facial injuries. The 3 males fled the residence after stealing a small amount of cash and illicit drugs.
The victim was transported to the Pine Falls hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries sustained from the attack and later released.
On October 15, 2010, at about 10am, Powerview RCMP arrested one male suspect in relation to the incident. The suspect’s name is not being released at this time pending further investigation.
Police continue to investigate in attempts to locate and arrest the remaining two suspects.
