The Steinbach RCMP Detachment recently provided the City of Steinbach with the Occurrence Statistics for the third quarter (July, August, September) of 2010.

An “occurrence” is a call for service or any time that an RCMP officer has to dedicate time to an issue and fill out a report. In his report to the City, Staff Sargeant Davy Lee outlined how Constable Kevin Wynn has improved relationships in the community and increased visibility as the Community Liaison Officer. S/Sgt. Lee says the RCMP are currently on track to meet their target goals within their 2010 Annual Performance Plan, including initiatives such as road safety, reducing break-ins, and increasing their visibility in the community.
