Around 8:30pm on December 3, 2010, officers from the Dauphin Municipal RCMP detachment arrested 2 teenage girls for breach of recognizance.

The two girls, both from Dauphin, had been charged in September for a number of thefts from vehicles in Dauphin in what they referred to as “car hopping”. Investigators had determined that both of the girls had missed school on a number of occasions which was a breach of their release conditions.

The two girls, ages 14 and 16 years, have each been charged with breach of recognizance and have been remanded in custody to appear in court in Dauphin.
