Proudly presented by the Evangelical Mennonite Conference, the Steinbach Arts Council and CHVN, ‘The Great Hallelujah!’ will be a powerful and dynamic worship-concert celebration in the black gospel tradition.
Under the leadership of Steinbach’s own, and international singer/song-writer/recording artist, Danny Plett, and accompanied by Danny’s four piece band of professional musicians, ‘The Great Hallelujah!’ will be performed at the Steinbach Mennonite Church on April 30, 2011.
The vision of this unique music event is to celebrate and proclaim the love and message of Jesus Christ! Through the dynamic performances of this Steinbach Regional Community Mass Choir, and of Danny Plett the audience will be led to wholeheartedly participate in this celebration of faith! ‘The Great Hallelujah!’ will also offer the Steinbach and region’s churches and music communities a common ground on which to build on existing relationships with each other and further nurture a spirit of co-operation.
‘The Great Hallelujah!’ will be an admission-free event. An offering will be taken that will go towards the support of one of Steinbach’s local charity organizations.
