On January 10, 2011, RCMP Investigators arrested an 18-year-old male who has been charged with first degree murder in relation to a homicide this past November.
On November 10, 2010, Police attended a residence in the RM of Hillsburg and discovered a 16-year-old female deceased inside the residence and a 17-year-old male suffering from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
RCMP have now arrested the 18-year-old male, who was 17 years of age at the time of the offence.
RCMP report that the offender’s name will not be released and that he has been remanded in custody.
Police continue to investigate.
