On January 12, 2011, at about 5pm, Emerson RCMP as well as local emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene of a fatal snowmobile collision near St. Joseph, Manitoba.
Investigation revealed that a lone adult male, a 47-year-old man from the RM of Montcalm, Manitoba, had collided with construction material and was located deceased at the scene.
There were no other persons reported injured as a result of this incident and police continue to investigate.
