Morden RCMP are investigating several break, enter and thefts that occurred in Hochfeld, just south of Winkler.
The incidents occurred between late night hours on Friday January 14 and early morning hours Saturday January 15, 2011.
Three locations, one being a church were broken into. Once inside, culprit(s) stole a substantial amount of tools. Some are higher end and/or distinctive tools such as a battery booster pack with Quaker State Oil logo on it, a Dewalt and a Hilti laser level and a Dewalt impact driver. Several other items stolen, included, but not limited to, a sodering kit, hole saw kit, acetylene torch and a Mikita angle drill and Mikita 18 volt tool combo kit in the case.
RCMP report that the total damage/loss of the 3 break-ins is valued between $6000-$8000.
