Interior Walls of The Graffiti Art Programming Inc.
In partnership with Graffiti Art Gallery from Winnipeg, Steinbach Arts Council presents Urban Arts ’11 Youth Mural Spring Break Project.
This special project will take place from March 31 to April 1 at the Steinbach Cultural Arts Centre from 9am to 4pm each day.
The Urban Arts ’11 Program was created for the youth within the Steinbach Community and surrounding areas to explore and express their passion for the urban arts. UA ’11 is located at The Steinbach Arts Council on the corner of Second Street and Reimer Avenue.
Partnering with the Graffiti Art Programming Inc. of Winnipeg, MB, who will help with providing educated instructors at cost to us, Steinbach Arts Council has created a program for youth to come learn urban arts, which may include: graffiti art, hip hop art, contemporary art. The program is not-for-profit and is looking to provide this program for free to all our youth. The program will be offered during specific times of the year, example would be Spring Break and Summer Break.
The launch of Urban Arts ’11 Program will be March 30 and April 1, Steinbach Arts Council asks all the youth in the area to come out to SAC, bring your enthusiasm, energy and friends to create SAC’s very first Urban Arts Mural.
