Starting Monday, June 17, the City of Steinbach’s Waterworks Department will be busy reading water meters in Steinbach. These readings will provide the basis for the quarterly utility bills issued in August.
Meter readings are conducted by two Waterworks Department employees and takes 7 to 10 days to complete. These City employees can be identified by their safety vests and the City of Steinbach identification cards that they carry.
Meters readings are not invasive, unless the meter read-out is not working, in which case City employees will request entry into the house.
